So we detoured from Baybeats and decided to drink wine instead. I liked B-Quartet but it seemed like everyone was much more interested in boozing at some bar at the esplanade so the detour was inevitable. After that, we went to Ashley's for even more drinks. Cordon Bleu
again, with green tea
again, the ultimate bastardisation of cognac. And there, I met the most adorable, lovable dog in the world, and this is coming from a cat person. I swear, I don't know what breed it was, but it looked like an overgrown snow white pomeranian and I considered kidnapping it several times during the night.
The entire day was awesome. Singapore Art Museum in the afternoon, Baybeats with wine in the evening, and drinks with live guitar playing by the boys in the late evening. It was mellow, reminiscent and inescapable all at the same time. Art, music and friends means a great friday.
And tonight, Copeland is playing so that makes me oh-so-definitely present.
